Reason: COVID-19 Preparedness Orders

As we are all preparing for COVID-19 as expeditiously as possible, we have become aware of the out of stock cleaning items and other personal protective equipment (PPE) available at mandatory sources. To ensure that we are able to protect our students and employees during this critical time, we will be following the process below to procure disinfecting related cleaning supplies and related personal protective equipment (PPE) deemed necessary to combat COVID-19.
1. When placing an order using VDC punch-out catalog, you will see stock status of cleaning products and related PPE items, only proceed with creating punch out order for in stock items
2. If stock is available, our commitment to VDC is to pace the order through them
3. If stock is unavailable through VDC, please put order in as vendor TBD or select a micro vendor. We will procure the cleaning products and related PPE items from the micro source
4. If we are unable to procure from a micro source, then we will procure from a non-micro source with proper justification
In order to process using the steps above, SSC has obtained a blanket waiver from VDC valid through April 30, 2020 for out of stock related disinfecting and PPE items.
