We are rapidly approaching the holiday season and as such, need to adjust deadlines and processes to ensure every payroll is completed timely.

Semi-Monthly Processing:

The final semi-monthly payroll for 2019 (pay date December 31, 2019) has a certification deadline of Monday, December 23, 2019. The SSC office will be closed on December 23, 2019, so SSC Payroll will do their best to provide your full-time certification packages no later than Friday, December 20th pending clean edit reports. Please ensure that you have sufficient staff authorized to certify payrolls during the holiday season.

Bi-Weekly Processing:

The first bi-weekly payroll for 2020 has a period ending date of December 19, 2019.

Please communicate the following information with your wage employees and the approving managers and supervisors:

1. All wage employees will need to complete timesheet entries in HRMS for the pay period ending 12/19/2019 no later than 10:00 am on December 19, 2019.

2. Supervisors and managers will need to approve all hours in HRMS by 12 noon on December 19, 2019. Any time entries not completed and approved by the deadline will process the next payroll period after they are entered and approved. There can be no exceptions.

3. Submission of all employee documents to SSC Payroll is 5:00 pm on December 17, 2019.

*Please note the payroll deadlines are different than those issued by the TLAM group for their processes and will take priority to ensure your staff is paid timely.*

In order to provide the bi-weekly certification packets as soon as possible, the Shared Services will start processing HRMS interfaces on the afternoon of December 19, 2019. Our goal is to send the certification packages for your review by Friday, December 20th. Please keep in mind that you cannot certify on December 20th. The earliest certification will be on Tuesday, December 31st after DOA completes year-end processes. CIPPS is scheduled to reopen at 2pm and certification needs to be completed by the 3:30pm deadline.

Please ensure that you have sufficient staff authorized to certify payrolls during the holiday season.
