Reason: HR and Payroll Wave Update

Last year, the Applicant Tracking, Onboarding and Payroll projects were put on hold in order to re-evaluate their cost, schedule and staffing. Recently, the SSC Executive Council approved the following actions regarding these projects (Please see the attached presentation for a timeline view and distribute this information to the agency’s appropriate managers and employees).
The project will resume transitioning colleges according to the wave schedule in the table below:
Go Live: 3/25/20
Go Live: 6/25/20
Go Live: 8/25/20
• Danville transitioning 2/25/20
• LFCC has Silkroad ATS (ends 8/20)
• TCC and NOVA have stand-alone contracts that end in August 2020:
The contract with Avature is being finalized with a goal of signing within the next few weeks. The proposed wave schedule below will then need to be verified with the Avature implementation team. The goal is to transition colleges to ATS service prior to Onboarding services to benefit from system integrations and preceding the SilkRoad contract expiration of March 2021.

Payroll will proceed with transitioning on two additional colleges due to their specific needs before pausing until after the Cardinal Upgrade.

The pause will allow Payroll to transition to Cardinal, stabilize its staffing and standardize processes before rolling out to additional colleges. If a need arises at a college to transition payroll to the SSC, the college should contact the SSC and that request will be reviewed by the SSC Executive Council before proceeding.
