RE: Payroll Fiscal Year-End

Below are the Fiscal Year-End Payroll deadlines obtained from the attached Department of Accounts Payroll Bulletin 2020-09 published on May 6, 2020.

Important dates and information regarding FYE 2020:

· June 10 – Semi-monthly salary certification deadline for pay period May 25 – June 9, 2020.

· June 10 – Confirmation of VRS Snapshot for May is due.

· June 12 – Healthcare reconciliations and related ATAs due by 5:00 pm to DOA for the May coverage month.

· June 16 – Bi-weekly wage certification deadline for pay period May 22 – June 4, 2020, for check date June 19, 2020. This is the last wage payroll charged to FY 2020.

· June 19 – Last day to certify special payrolls charged to FY2020. You must use a June check date. No July check dates will be allowed. As a reminder, Pay Types 3 and 9 cannot be certified on the same night.

· June 22 – First day to certify semi-monthly salary for pay period June 10 – June 24, 2020, for check date July 1, 2020. All payrolls certified on or after June 22, 2020 will be charged to FY 2021 and must have July check dates.

· June 25 – Semi-monthly salary certification deadline for pay period June 10 – June 24, 2020. This will be charged to FY 2021 without exception.

· June 29 – Bi-weekly wage certification deadline for check date July 3, 2020. This will be charged to FY 2021 without exception.

· June 30 – CIPPS files close at noon for fiscal year-end processing. The interface from HRMS to CIPPS will not run.

The attached bulletin also contains important information regarding:

· Fringe benefit rates effective July 1, 2020.

· New health care premiums effective July 1, 2020.

· Discontinued Subobject Code

· CIPPS Security

· Financial Reporting
