Reason: Revised Procurement Yearend Deadlines

As a follow up to recent discussions with the VP’s of Finance, and in support of our collective effort to reduce the burden on our Colleges in this very difficult time, the SSC Procurement team has modified our year end deadlines. As always, we want to work with you to ensure the goods and services that you need before the end of the fiscal year are there for you when you need them. During our meeting with the VP’s of Finance, we discussed anticipated fiscal year end buying patterns and demand. Given the uncertainty that the coronavirus issue has presented us, most Colleges believe their fiscal year end demand for goods and services will be less than the usual fiscal year end. As such, we can modify the end dates to allow more flexibility for our Colleges.
Attached is a revised procurement fiscal year end deadline memo. The dates in orange font have been extended from the original memo. We have made careful consideration with these revised dates to allow for our teams to process the orders and the vendors to deliver in time for payments. The remainder of the memo is unchanged; however, we have reached out to DPS to request their deadlines and are awaiting their guidance. In addition, the new fiscal year FY21 ordering is open as outlined in the memo.
