Reason: Procurement Changes for Fiscal Year 2021
Date: July 2, 2020
The Department of General Services has issued procurement changes effective July 1, 2020. While most of the changes are minor or clerical in nature, a few are impactful for our organization. While these changes are effective now, they are not posted to date. Since the SSC Procurement Team will be abiding by these changes now, we wanted to communicate those changes with the most impact. We will plan to send a more detailed communication in the coming days. Please note the following changes:
· APSPM Section 1.5 Exemptions from Competition – The threshold has moved from $30,000 to $100,000
· APSPM Section 1.5.b.5 Training is no longer an exemption and must be competed over $10,000 or the single quote threshold
· APSPM Section 1.5.b.18 Testing & Evaluation new threshold of $100,000 is one-time only
