SSC Services during COVID-19

Since the SSC serves and supports the colleges in many ways, we want to reinforce that the SSC, just like the colleges, has been working extremely hard expanding our COOP and is proactively working to support the majority of our employees’ ability to work from home, should our facility be temporarily closed. To date, approximately 90% of the SSC workforce has moved to telework.

We plan to, and feel confident that, the SSC will be able to continue to offer the same Help Center, Business Office and HR services. The continuance of normal SSC services also depends on the colleges’ ability to communicate with the SSC if the college facilities close. Again, at this time, with the information that is known to us and the planning that has taken place throughout the VCCS, we will continue to offer the same services to the colleges.
