| Re | 2026 Summer Faculty Pay Procedures |
Please refer to the attached documents for specific procedures for processing 2026 Summer Faculty Payrolls in Cardinal for:
- 9-month faculty who receive 18 paychecks during the academic year, and
- 9-month faculty who receive 24 paychecks during the fiscal year
Summer Processing Reminders:
- Wages for teaching performed during the summer session period, May 16, 2026, through August 15, 2026, will be paid on the summer faculty schedule under special pay code FOT.
- For the June 16, 2026, through June 30, 2026, pay period, please be advised that all payments will be issued July 1, 2026, with no special off-cycle run per DOA.
- The Shared Service Center Payroll Team will coordinate directly with the agencies to process the Auto Pay and VRS-related updates for faculty over the summer. This will help ensure updates are handled efficiently and without delay.
If your agency is currently using SSC Payroll services, your assigned payroll specialist will coordinate these processes. Please refer to the attached documents for specific details as needed.
