The System Office Finance, ITS, and SSC TLAM teams continue to work together to update the current Leave Liability Report to comply with the new GASB101 financial standards. We had previously mentioned that the testing phase was taking longer than expected due to the complexity of the new report. Additionally, an audit resource provided some valuable feedback, which means we are making further adjustments.
Rest assured, SSC will keep you informed and let you know once the Leave Liability Reports are finalized and ready to be posted to each college folder on SharePoint. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Moreover, once the financial schedules 7 and 8 are finalized, the System Office Finance team will distribute them to the colleges. This will include a further extension to the due date, allowing you additional time to review the Leave Liability reports thoroughly.
