Reason: Action Needed: New Procurement System Live Validation

Dear Live Validation Requestors,
As you are aware, we are expecting our new eVA system to go live on January 3, 2022. Our VCCS eVA Transition Team would like to complete a live validation process beginning on January 3rd, to reduce the risk of any large-scale failures. On November 15th, we sent a message to all of your VPs of Finance to recruit you for this effort.
Although we will schedule a zoom session for mid-December to review all the steps of the process, as requisitioners we need your assistance with a bit of pre-work. Specifically, we need your assistance in identifying the folks in your approval flows.
For the live validation we will want to complete two real/live requisitions per college or one requisition per requestor. Will you please anticipate a procurement need that will not require any type of solicitation, sole source or new cooperative to be completed as soon as the new system is available. For example, you may know that you'll need to complete an order for office supplies as early as possible in January.
Based on that anticipated procurement need, will you please review a requisition that you completed to a purchase order this fiscal year for a similar procurement. With our example for office supplies, you would locate an office supply order you completed this fiscal year. Once you locate that order, will you please reply with that requisition number by November 30, 2021.
Please reply to our project manager, Rainy Webb (rwebb), with the requested information by the end of the day, Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
