Reason: Procurement Fiscal Year Ending 2021 Initial Communication

Happy New Year! As we celebrate the arrival of 2021, it’s time to begin thinking about the closing of Fiscal Year 2021. Attached is the procurement schedule for the year ending FY21 and the year beginning FY22. Although, a few key dates are not yet known, we want to give you the dates we do know.
For FY21, we are pleased to offer the same extended dates that we used last year due to our reduced volumes. We are also excited to let you know that again this year we will be accepting FY22 orders prior to the year opening by using the same gating system that we put into place a couple of years ago.
As a quick reminder, this gating system allows us to put in orders and hold the requisitions securely in a pre-integration state. This means that we can finish the procurement and then release all of the orders from this pending status into a full purchase order as soon as the year is open in July, instead of the old process that caused many of these orders not to process until well into July or beyond.
