|Re:||Update – Parental Leave balances for 2021|
Last week, communication was distributed concerning a system issue causing the Parental Leave balances to not carry forward into the 2021 Leave Year. At this time, the Shared Service Center and System Office ITS are unable to resolve the issue but will continue to work through the challenge and provide further updates when a resolution is identified.
For now, it is recommended to use the leave type of ‘T69 Other’ in place of Parental Leave for the 1/10 – 1/24 pay period only.
This is best accomplished by loading the necessary Other Leave hours using an adjustment on the 1/9 EN1 calendar. The remaining Parental Leave balances can be loaded with the 1/24 EN1 calendar and absence events entered beginning with 1/25 will function as expected. Attached is an example for your reference.
