Waiting for Receipt queue

Effective Monday, November 13, 2023, all items in the Waiting for Receipt queue in Experience will be moved to the colleges’ respective Exception queues, and this queue will no longer be used.

The Waiting for Receipt queue was created several years ago as suppliers would occasionally send an invoice to the college prior to sending the goods or performing the service. Items were to be placed in this queue for five days and then rechecked for receiving. If receiving had not been performed, the invoice would then be placed in the college’s Exception queue.

Due to recent conversations during the AP Roundtables and with the AP Process Council, it was determined to no longer use this queue. Some colleges indicated its use may slow the time they have to research missing information that could ultimately affect Prompt Pay.
