Re Zoll Medical AED Recall Notice

Dear Colleges,

As the Shared Services Procurement Team for the VCCS, we occasionally receive product recall notices from vendors. Typically, we are able to identify affected colleges using eVA data. However, in this instance, the necessary information is not easily extractable from eVA requisition data. As a result, we are sharing the recall information below that we received from ZOLL Medical. Please ensure that you share this recall notice with your impacted teams: 

Product Recall Notice from Zoll Medical:

ZOLL® has issued a voluntary correction for its Powerheart® G5 semi-automatic and automatic AEDs. Some units have displayed Error Code (EC) 501 following routine self-tests, rendering them unable to deliver lifesaving therapy.
