Re:  UPDATE: Unapproved Time notifications- Time Administration

Previously, we noted an issue with the HRMS auto-generated email notifications for an employee’s unapproved time and exceptions being distributed although time records have been approved.

After further research, we have noted that at times, running the Time Administration process manually interferes with the automated process, and in June 2021, when the updated Time Administration process (VXTMADM) was implemented, the Core Time Administration App was not hidden from usage as planned. If someone uses this option, it will result in the process failing.


As a result, System Office ITS will be removing the Core Time Administration App option from the Process Scheduler Request. When manually running the Time Administration process, please ensure that the checkmark is placed in the VXTMADM selection only.

We still request that you review the attached automated Time Administration schedule and avoid manually running the process during the time your agency is scheduled to run. If there is a business need, please allow at least 45 minutes after your scheduled Time Administration process before manually running this process.
